  Staffordshire Enamels Staffordshire Enamels was founded in 1977 as part of the revival of the enamelling industry in England. This craft, born in the middle of the 18th century had but a brief life. Attaining heights of exquisite workmanship and beauty within just 50 years, its death knell was sounded by the gathering pace of the Industrial Revolution and by the Napoleonic Wars.
