its important royal associations, dates back to the late 1800s. In 1896 Thomas Wild took over the Albert Works in Longton, Stoke-On-Trent, a factory given its title a year earlier to commemorate the birth of Prince Albert. In 1897, Thomas Wild and Co. produced a range of commemorative pieces for Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, an association with royalty that continues to this day. Moonlight Rose china is one of the fine examples of the Royal Albert exquisite pattern collection, Moonlight Rose or sometimes misspelt Moon light Rose china has a touch of delicate blue and 22 carat gold stippled edging, enjoy the romance of Moonlight Rose or Moon light Rose bone china. Old Country Roses was designed in 1962, utilising both rich and soft colours, combining lush deep red roses with the warmth from the tea roses, alongside the delicacy from the blush pink - all softened by a wash of green. Rich gold stipple and a burnished gold rim complete the design. The Royal Albert Old Country Roses pattern emphasises the full bodied and curvaceous fluted Montrose dinnerware shape.
